I like my 104 engine again

I didn't like it much on Sunday or Monday either! The blocking plate I made is holding water pressure. I buttoned up the last couple of things (fan, hoses) and filled & burped it. It shook down OK last night so I drove it to work. The real test will be sitting on I-75 at rush hour when it's 92*.

The new thermostat has it running slightly hotter than it did before but other than that... no problems. Knocking on wood.

The o-ring

I used the o-ring that would be used to seal the pipe to the oil cooler. The pump came with a complete o-ring set... just no blocking plate.

Did you ever get your oil cooler pipe off?
