Anyone ever done front brake pads/rotors on 1993 300E/W124? Tips before I start?

Hey guys!

Just bought my first Benz, a beautiful 1993 300E, black, Florida car. Time to change the pads and rotors though. Gonna put on cross-drilled and slotted rotors from EBC (designed to fit stock) and pads. Any tips on this before I rip this thing apart? I've done brakes on Japanese and American cars but this is my first car from Deutschland so I'm looking to benefit from others' experience.
