Nice! But won't the ECU read too much air flow at that point?
Isn't there a point where the ECU will give you a Check Engine error?

or was a new ECU include in the TT kit? I don't know, so I'm asking.

As far as I am guessing, it should not make a licking difference. The instructions with TT kit say that one should install MAF Metering Unit just at the end of the hose I cut in the middle. So it's original location was just 6-9 inches lower (towards the intake cone). There is no air pressure at that point so I really think it should be the same. As far as the check engine, LMAO, I already took so much crap out and modified so much, that if Check Engine doesn't turn on it would be an act of GOD )))))))))))))))). Again, I could be wrong, but all logical tells me it should be ok.

The MAF should see the same amount of flow regardless of location.

Babushka or anyone who's doing the install. Any info on the new belt. Since the airpump is being deleted, the belt should be smaller. Does anyone have any specs on it????

We had to test fit it. I went to 1 auto store about 17 times replacing the mm different belts. Will look at home at the exact size and part number of what i used and will post it later.

Ok, sorry for delay, swamped with crap.

The belt I got (which is a bit too tight) is made by GATES, it's a Micro-V AT belt Green Strip

K060849
6PK2156

13/16" x 85 1/2" OC
20mm x 2171mm OC

I would try to find something between 85 1/2" and 85 3/4" OC

Babushka, thanks.
I'm hoping after the upcoming weekend the car will be fired up.
Thanks again.

Attached in this post is a reference for anyone who would like to know varying sizes of belts for the M104's, 103's, etc... Check the bookmarks(page 70 or 71 and on).
