where is the location of the thermo switch that controls the cold start valve on a 89 300e????? i always thought it was at the back of the head near firewall. but then i bought an owners bible and it said that the thermo switch was located in the block under the intake? wrong?? i put it on the lift and its not there! if it was under there you would have to take the intake off to replace it. very frustrated. would like to confirm the part # of the sensor as well.
