fuel filter washers 300td
Hi, can anyone tell me where is the proper place for the two black rubber washers that came with my new fuel filter? Thanks!

....also, in an 87 300td will I just twist the old one off or is there more to getting at the old filter and removing it... thanks

if its the same as the 300e its basicly just unscrewing the 2 ends of the filter and replacing it. just once you remove the filter go backwards and you should be fine, as for new washers that came with the filters im not sure as mine was just a filter, not new bolts or washers or anything.
