Hi,
I'm looking for a new set of headlights for my W124 and want to get an idea of what they would look like.
Can anyone with photoshop assist?
Thanks!
Euro spec plastic projector headlights that come in black, chrome, or titanium. Just in case my glass grinding project goes nowhere, I need a set of alternate headlights for my HID projector retrofit project.
yikes! hey sergio why dont you just go with the projectors they sell on ebay shown in the second pic on the silver W124. not the plastic cheap junky ones like in the other 2 pics. the $400 ones accept HID.
Thanks for the photoshop!! I appreciate everyone's opinions. They look HORRIBLE in black. I only have one more picture of the black ones. Here are a couple of the chrome and titanium ones.
The reason I did not choose the second ones, although they are my favorite by far, is that I question the quality of the projectors used for the low beam. I purchased an E46 bixenon projector set and want to use it. I would like to remove the projectors used on the headlights from the second picture and use the E46s but I'm not certain they would fit and none of the e-bay sellers will provide a picture of the rear of the assembly with the cover removed. I would like to see if the projector swap is feasible. If so, that would be the perfect solution!!
Hi Sergio, you are correct, fit is an important issue, I think that's why Rik (2phast) went with the lights that he did, as it has the maximum room inside to work with (and why I went for the same ones too). Even then, my Hella Generation 4 bi-xenons barely clear the front lens - they're almost touching. I estimate that at most I have 2-3 mm of clearance!
As such the second one doesn't have the height to fit your E46 bixenon : (
