problem locating the 19mm nut to loosen the tensioner belt - Benzworld.org

hi guys! trying to tighten my belt and try to look for the nut to loosen up the tensioner befors tightening it...pls help....any pictures would be great!thanks guys!

You will need to remove your fan shroud to make it easier to get to the 19MM. It is not all that easy to see, but there. Push back a hose or two and you should see it. You will most likely find a short extension to be a big help. Also, if it isn't a 19MM, as it was on 86 300E, then it is a 10MM hex as it is on my 300CE.

hey thanks! can I also pull out the fan shroud in two pcs. I know there are two clips on top but are there more on the side or under it? thanks!
