do the stock OEM 94-95 lights fit the 87??( or do you also have to upgrade the hood to utiltize the stock lights??)

The lights in general do fit (fixings etc) but the lenses are different and look weird - they have special "indents" for the new style hood and grill. So unless you want to change the hood and grill, just go for the euro headlights.

no. and yes, you will need an upgrade hood for those update lights.

battle, let sassume that i am swapping out the hoods,, would they then fit??? or is still a situation where i have to buy aftermarket lights that will both fit the 87, and the 94/95 hood?

there are no aftermarket lights that will fit both hoods. like w124uk mentioned, the 94-95 lights have that small indent curve that goes with the 94-95 hoods grille curve. for an 87, you can get the euro's from katmac that look really good or update the hood then go for the later-style lights. it all depends on how much your willing to spend and what style you want.

The car sings with euro lights and they actually fit the car.
