Check out the new wheels!!

I just got these put on a week ago. Got them at les schwab. Pretty good deal. They misquoted me on the powdercoat so I got the powdercoat done for only 22 bucks a wheel. Wheels were pretty reasonable, only 165 a piece. They still dont fit quite perfecly. The offset is 35 and I have 215/50/17 tires on it. It's rare that they rub, but sometimes they do in wierd bumps and corners. I think I will have to roll the inner fender eventually. The imperfect fit is kind of a bummer since I wanted to lower the car. I dont think theres a chance now.

Anyhow, now on to the pictures. The car is kinda dirty. Its practically impossible to keep it clean in the weather we're having over here in Portland.

Later on I'm planning on a tint, euro lights, s600 grill, etc. . . And yes, I will fix the centercaps. I think I will get some original MBZ centercaps and find the right shade of pray paint to match the wheel.

get those tires looking wet mayn. black wheels mean you have to stay on top of these things. Headlights are a must as well as clear corners. I would also say get the smoked tail lights. I am smoking my TE tail lights this weekend, you could do something similar for a cheaper price. I have to since smoked TE tail lights are 300 bucks.

I would consider painting the lug nuts black or the pearl black of the car. The chrome just doesn't look good just on the lugs.. it makes the black wheels look off, when they infact look great. Ooooh, get the centercaps that have the silver background with chrome star, and match the background with the flat black so you just have a star in chrome for contrast.

lol...that's what I was about to say...dry rubber with those rims makes the car look like a 4x4.

good call on the tires. never even thought about that. its just too damn cold to be out doing anything to my car. I think the next step will be to get the stereo in. Then I'm going to do the tint. Then eurolights with 94-95 corners (they're mostly clear with a little bit of amber in them. looks more original). And then probably smoke out the tails too. By the beginning of this summer the car will be very hot.

Thanks for the word guys

I was thinking about doing that too. I want to have it professionaly done though. I've heard people saying that they just spray paint it which I think would look horrible.
