Good luck..Bosch stopped making the correct plugs, they are all HR9DC's. I'd look for the NGK equivalent or if you can find it Beru plugs are the ideal. The main concern is non-resistor copper core.

H9DC i think taht 300e has H8DC.
In Europe all plugs are one heat range lower. So in the USA a 2.3 engine uses H8DC(O) while in Europe the same engine uses H7DC(O). I don't know why Europeans use the lower heat range.

Maybe it is caused by the level of exhaust gas emission.
In usa i think is rigirous emission standarts.
Euro engines are hotter (higher compression/wilder cams/open exhaust/more aggressive timing and fuel maps) plus ya'll get to drive @ higher overall speeds thus the need for cooler plugs.

upps Yes i forgot about that.
But if the usa engine have lower compression then it is caused by emission of gas and fuel octane .
