I just got this 1995 E420 and there are a few things wrong. The Blower moter only runs on slow. I have checked the fuse F15 and it is good. I have changed out the climate control module with no improvement (part from used car ????) I was trying to check everything else before I go at the blower motor and blower module. I can access the plug X64 in back of the brake booster. Now my question is what signal is coming from the control module N22? Is it a 0-12V signal or a resistance? I can connect the battery to pin 2 and ground pin 1. If I could control the signal on pin 3, I could tell quickly if I need to remove the wiper and motor, or if the problem is in the wiring.
It's probably the blower regulator located in the blower motor area. Very common to go bad. You'll have to remove your wiper assy to get to it.

Thanks for the reply sunman/
It probably is the blower controler. I was just trying to check out as much as posible before I pulled the blower. With my luck after I have everything apart, it would turn out to be something like a wire gone bad between the climate control and the controler.
I checked the 30 amp strip fuse, it was good. The climate control module had light and the blower moter did work on low. I can hear the damper valves operating when I change control setings. I will check the climate control fuse but I think its OK to. I have a 400E for a parts car. I am going to remove the blower motor and regulator for practice and posibly parts before I tare into my running 420E. What I wanted to know was if I removed the plug from the blower regulator and applied power and ground to the two terminals, what do I apply to the terminal coming from the climate control ? It's eather a resistance to ground or a voltage 0-12V.
