I 've put in a new heat gasket a month ago and since then I'm having some troubles when starting up the engine. Everytime I start it, the engine goes straight to 1000rpm's and then drops to 500-400 rpm's, the first 2 startups are mostly even a complete shutdown. If I drive around for a couple minutes the engine fixes itself and goes to 900-1000 rpm's stationary.
Got any idea's?
owyea, the whole reason I changed the heat gasket in the first place was because I had some troubles with cooling fluids that were boiling over everytime I put the engine out.
well, it didn't help, I still have the same problem.
Hi
In my opiniom its something wrong with you inhection system. Some vaccums maybe wrong connected.
It takes blind air(do you understand it <<) from something .
Check all connection place in your injection, but iam affraid that you wouldnt see what caused it because it could be only a small leakiness in your intake.
So maybe you should go to mechanician that will be able to chec it.
Wish you luck
Mariusz.
I agree check first your electrical & vacuum connections.
If everything's plugged-in, then check your ICV (idling control valve) or your Warm-Up regulator.
Or your MAF could just be dirty & needs some carb cleaner spraying.
owkay, gonna do that first thing tommorow thx,
btw.. if I took blind air wouldn't it stay like it is? I mean, now it stops after like a minute of driving, if it would be blind air wouldn't it be doin' like this all the time?
