Will some fender rolling and bending, will these rims fit a W124? Browsed through some german W124 sides and see some W124 coupes with these rims.
Sizes 8.5 x 17 ET18 for the fronts and 10 x 17 ET17 for the rears....
Can i also shave the inner hubs to increase the offset so it comes closer to a W124's ET25-ET35??
Those offsets are for W126's and R129's.
Why not get these wheels with the offset for W124's? They did produce them and they are generally much cheaper in price than those made for W126/R129. Their offset was in the 30's from what I remember.

ive tried and believe me when I say they wont fit, here soem pictures of my attempt at doing so:
Fronts:
In the end I found a set of the proper w124 fitment alloys, 8.5 x 17 et 30, they still need your arches to be rolled but its not a big job, end result:
Thanks guys..... I was hoping they would fit because I already gotten them!
Attached is a picture of my rear fender flared out about an inch. Running 245/40R18 tires now on 18 x 8 ET30 with room for more..... Haven't ordered the tires yet though...

what?! 245? are there rubbing issues even with the fenders flared?
well i have the exact 8.5 and 10 inch 17 rims on my sec coupe... well my questions is do you know where i can get the correct socket to dismantle the rims so i can refurbish them??? the clear lacqure coating on the polished parts is peeling off very badly, the only way to do the job properly is to dismantle all the studs, send them off for polishing and then resparey them with clear 2k.
just wondering if you have refurbised yours on these pictures on your 124?
