Sunroof blew a fuse and now windows don't work

Hello

At lunch today, I heard a pop and my radio quit. I was able to turn it back on, but found that my windows and sun roof are not working. When i checked the fuse box, I found that the sunroof fuse was blown, bt the other fuses were okay. I replaced the broken fuse and tried to close the windows but the fuse blew immediately. Again, the power window fuses are fine. Is the power for the windows routed through the sunroof? Any suggestions regarding where to strat troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Greg

I did some reading in the Mercedes Bible and a Haynes manual i bought for the car. I believe that I have narrowed the problem down to the sunroof / window control module. When I checked the fuses, the only one that was blown was the sunroof, the window fuses are fine. I figure I have a short to ground somewhere around the input to the module if not in the module itself.

How difficult are these to come by for a '94 E320 and how difficult are they to replace? The books were a little light in regard to how to check out / replace the module so any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
Greg

PS - Is the control module and relay the same thing?

I got it fixed! A dime bounced into the cigarette lighter and shorted it out. This was causing the blown fuses!
I got the dime out and everything works fine! I will keep the lighter hole plugged from now on.
