As a newbie to the forum im blown away at the impartial, friendly and extensive experience available. The down side to this is, there is so much valuable information it makes it difficult for a novice like myself to collate. With a view to purchasing one of these in the next month of so I'm still pondering which is the better car E320 or 300 CE 24V, i beleive one has a computer (which year did this start?) are these really a problem? should they be avoided? As a bit of a gizmo fanatic I favour the some of the E320 ive seen recently. Im ok with the engine harness and the oil leaks, how would i check out the A/C evap, would this be down to running the a/c? and looking at the history? may be a pressure check? (difficult from a private buyer)
