I installed a 1990 Bosch O2 sensor from a Mustang 302 V8 and she ran good. I turned her off so I can secure the wires , tried to start her up with no success. Now on day 2 with no wheels, my friend and I searched just about every known salvage yard, picked up an ecu and special relay called OVP still nothing, could'nt find fuel pump relay with numbers that match, she has spark, but fuel is null and tank is full. Opened lower compartment hooked up electric current to pump and the pump moves, however when trying to start her up the fuel pump would not move as though it wasn't getting the signal. Nothing works, she will not start at all. Am I missing something here?! I've spliced many O2 sensors before but never had problems with Saabs. This is my first Benz 1987 3.0 300e with over 200,000 miles odometer stopped working before I bought her. Please somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can get her started.
