I read an "oil test" comparison a while ago in one of my magazines - they concluded that Mobil 1 was the only one worth the money. Ever since that I have used 10w 40 & change every 5,000 miles religeously. My car doesn't drive in bad weather or traffic, so that viscosity works well.

how often are you suposed to change the oil in the 12 valve 103 engines compared to the 24 valve 104's?

i just keep an eye on the oil colour, if it changes or goes darker i get it done.

Mobil 1 XXW-30 is not a MB approved oil (W-30 is too thin).

ha ha no!!

she doesnt drink that much, same as my old 2.0 corrado, strangly even better on the motorway or A roads.

i usually put about £20 or 25ish litres a day in her, sometimes less and sometimes more but that is shared with a couple of mates who come along for the ride, they seem to love my benz as much as i do which is good!!
