94-95 Grille on 1988 w124??????

I don't like the grille on my 1988, but like the 94/95 grille. Is it possible to put a 94/95 grille on a 1988 w124, without changing the hood, or doing something really expensive?

I'm about 99% sure you can't because of the face lift hood, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong, also I'm guessing you would have to get a 93-95 hood too.

it can be done, search the forum... I saw some pictures of it here... they add some fibers or something to the original hood...

it can be done. you can buy an "upgrade kit" from somewhere and it will mimic the newer grill whiel still using your old hood and grill..
