What a shame Merc don't do a convertible E class any more. CLK is pretty cramped compared with an E. Merc seem to be filling every other gap in the market but not this one which was so successful for them. Great looking Joef!
I've had this car for a little over a year. I've lowered it with H&R sports, tint 30% all around, smoked tail/corners/plates, AMG pedals, Mercedes sport shift knob. MQ Quart speakers, Phenoix Gold 5-ch amp, K40 undetectable radar were already installed. Soon to install MTX amp and 15" sub that i recently bought. Wheels and paint will be in another year or so. I've also replaced timing chain, head gasket, guide rails...etc.

Your coupe looks great - I especially like the stance...
Have you decided on the type / style of wheel? I seriously recommend going with a 17" staggered set up.
Thanks - just trying to keep interest in this thread. I have no idea what the specific criteria is for a thread to become a sticky, but it would stand to reason considering there is already 300e & wagon picture thread sticky's.
I guess we just need to keep on posting pictures regadless...
It's not done nor clean at the moment. But more pics next week.
Joef, please don't forget! I love your car and would love more pictures. I haven't seen a modded cabrio before.
Benzbro, your car looks fantastic. I envy the color! Once you put those rims on and do the color-matched lower panels (I assume that's what you mean by doing paint), your car will be VERY tough to beat. Just don't do anything too crazy with the rims!!
Thanks for the comments. I'm thinking about going with 18" but 17 is still a possibility. Those fenders on the pics that you posted bahnstormer are insane! I like the wide stance my car has, and want to keep that with whatever wheel/tire combo i get. It will be another year or so till i get wheels, and another few years till paint. Being in college burns enough $$ from my pocket as it is. I've been thinking about going with the Brabus monoblock IV or the Lorinser RS1. I want to stay away from the AMG monoblock since it's so common (Plus i had those on my old 190).
