Can someone give me a "heads up" on a few good service guys in the Chicago area, hopefully western suburbs?

Thanks, Just need a tune up, antifreeze flush, tuning adjustment, possibly a diagnostics test.

Stay away from Fischer Automotive on NW Hghwy I dont remember the city but past palatine.

I have a 88 300ce with 88k miles and just had it down to Steve to replace the exhaust and replaced another sensor that was causing a drop in acceleration.

I am not sure about the quality of work going on at Helmut & Vito's as we took our 87' 260E there since it would not pass emissions and we tryed everything we could think of. They did get the car to pass but now it runs worse; hard startup and rough idle/stall unless I keep my foot in it a bit until it's been running for a minute or so. I have gone through the relay's, fuel system, and ignition and am lost. The car is NOT showing any error codes.

Replaced/checked;
Fuel filter
cap
rotor
wires
plugs
main fuel relay
ovp
cleaned injectors
new air cleaner
recent exhaust
vacuum lines
