i know this topic has been discussed and have read previous threads on it however after reading everything i'm still looking for some direction as there are so many contradictory posts about this.
i just put the Bilstein HD struts on and the car is driving great. next up is springs. 99% city driving but want the look/feel of the lower/tigher ride.
do i need to replace the stock "pads"? will HDs be better matched to one of the 3 spring makes?
Voglands since you're doing city driving. They have the biggest drop with the most comfortable sporty ride. H & R's are nice but harsher then Vogtlands. Stock pads might be switched depending on how low or even you want your ride to look. HD's coupled with Vogtlands should give you a nice drop not as low as with a Vogtland /sport combo. Eibachs you already know where I stand with them...
