| Erratic engine idle and at lower RPMS
Hello Good People,
I have purchased a 1991 300ce 8 months back, i live in Dubai, the car was imported from Japan. Ship shape condition, mileage app 80K.
Car was running fine, until 4 months back, i tested the car by pushing it hard and playing with the auto gear. Eversince, I have this problem where the car is hesitatant while picking up speed at lower gears and also during engine idle. However when its running its a dream.
I have changed from plugs, cables, rotor arms etc, i have manged to get a used air mast flow distributor (as suggested by my mechanic) to try on, just no luck. Further advise from the same mechanic suggest I now try with the main computer.
I am not convinced that's the problem. Other advises I have received via phone from mechanis is to try an reset the mechanical timing of the engine or try get to rid of the catalithic portion of the ekzos.
The local MB garage was of no help. PLEASE HELP [?] |
