I am sure the universal / after market will be much cheaper, But it may be hard , to fit it in depending on the exhaust configuration/ tube routing. Which did you exceed co2 . Nox , ?
For starters...MOVE!! ok, just kidding. I had always ran my tanks real low and put a couple bottles of heet in the tanks and never had a problem passing emmisions. I would do something like that before spending all that dough on stuff you may not need. Are you in a blue state too?? (democratic)?
To start I'd run a few liters of water through your engine, change the oil and pull the air filter.
Next, drive your car at High RPM for a few days, ie leave it in 3rd when cruising..
Also, when was your O2 sensor changed last? Plugs/wires/leads?
What part of your emissions did you fail exactly?

Need parts? Give a call, I don't sell anything I wouldn't install on my own car.

give her the old "italian tuneup" before you go, and make sure its running and hot when it gets tested. should pass unless you have other problems somewhere.
