I just recently replaced the entire hose assembly. The check valve is part of it. If I recall the whole deal was about $50.00 from autopartsplace.com . Took all of about 20 minutes to do. My entire hose had become brittle with age and heat and was showing signs of wanting to crack.
This is an easy fix and good insurance. No one wants the break booster to not boost!!
If this valve is not working properly could it cause the car to have a rough idle? My hoses look OK on this but the valve looks very worn. Thanks, Brandon
Rough idle on the m104 is more likely a wiring harness issue, all other things (pluugs, wires, distr, throttle ) being ok of course.
