S600 Grille for W124 from Matrixcar.de

Hi,

Anyone had any experiance with purchase of the S600 Grille moulding for W124. Its 90 euros and im thinking of purchasing one for my E500, I slighty damaged mine and its annoying me !

I purchased one on eBay for $60 plus $20 shipping. Came quickly, in a box mit German writing all over, leading me to think the product could be european. Quality is good, but lands for the top two grille clips are cast too far outboard - not a show stopper, twist the clips a bit. Looks good, I think. Had to paint the opener handle black... The seller has a few bad feedback entries, seems abusive if you get into any hassle, so handle with care - but he has 98.7% good marks. He's listed as in Taiwan, but item shipped domestically in US.

Thanks for your speedy response. I will be purchasing mine from Germany in the next few weeks. You can see my current grille on the www.e500.org website (homepage) and see that it could really benefit from that new grille. Thanks again.

That grille is a good purchase. I've only seen it in pictures, but it looks really nice. I'm saving up to purchase one of my own.

Yeah - The Mercedes-Benz door sill I bought was high quality built although it didnt stick well to the original sill so I stuck it down myself - Now it'll probably never come off ![:D]
