210 wheels on a 124?

I am looking for a set of stock wheels for my 94' E420. There seems to be more used 210 wheel around then those for the 124. I am considering the 210 factory 15" 8-hole wheels that look the same as my 124 wheels, will they fit?

Thanks,

Colorado[}:)]

Colorado! I would say if the width and offset is right the lugs I believe are the same! What wheels came on your car? Sounds like your putting the same style back on? Why not just jump to 16 in. post some pics dude!!![;)][;)][;)][;)]

RE: 210 wheels on a 124?

Smokie,

I am watching eBay for whatever is cheap[:D] I am on a budget for this little project. I want to keep the snow tires on my factory wheels, which are beat up, and mount some summer skins to whatever else I can find. Needless to say, I am sick of driving my car with snow tires and what them off NOW. I was thinking 15" because the tires are cheaper.

Pretty much 99% of all the W210 wheels and W202 wheels fit.

Some of the W203 and W211 wheels will fit also but you have to be careful with the offset on them.

Boy I can't believe a 16 in tire is that much more than a 15 ? The 16 IMO looks nicer on the 420 ![;)][;)][;)]

Based on the tire rack reviews, I am going to try a set of Kuhmo KH11's. The 15" tires are $46 each, the 16's are $74 each. Over a $100 dollar difference for the set. So, since I am broke at the moment[V] and really want to shed the snow tires, 15's it is!

Smokie...You are so,so right! The 16" tires are a whopping 10 bucks or so more than 15". Do the math after say three seasons on the 16 tires at $40 bucks more and thats like what, a tank of gas[:0][?].
Plus the look is so much better than 15". Im still a fan of the 8 hole design on the 124.

RE: 210 wheels on a 124?

I sold my 210 wheels and tires (215/55/16) off a 2001 to a guy with a 93 or 94 W124 and threw in the lugs, they bolted up fine and looked great. Strange thing is I thought they looked ugly on my car, but on the older body style, shazam!

The 16s do look nicer as well.

Of course I think the same thing about my present wheels, 2004 E. They're okay with the 211 body, but look great with the 210. Too bad about the lugs. :)

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

RE: 210 wheels on a 124?

I've just bought 8-holes rims from a W210 for my coupe 200_CE-16 (1993)

They're 7,5J x 16 H2 ET41 ...

... I hope they'll fit! (but normaly no prob)

It's OK for the W210 wheels on the W124...

I've just put my 7,5J x 16 ET41 on my coupe (200_CE-16). And all the W210 16 in have this size exactly.
