210 wheels on a 124?

Hey guys ... do you know if the 5=spoke double prong wheels from a 230K sport coupe would fit on 124?

i got some conflicting information regarding the bolt sizes? some say its 12 mm, some 14 mm ... which one is it? will they fit without mods/spacers, etc?

RE: 210 wheels on a 124?

No.

The small W210 (E_200, E_230, E_220 Diesel, E_290 Turbodiesel and E_300 Diesel), not really sold in the US, were given with 15" alloy or non-alloy wheels (7X15) on 205/65/15.

It's because of the smaller brakes. But all the 6 and 8 cylinders came with 16" or 17" IMO.

My dad has an E_290 Turbodiesel with 17" //AMG now, but it used to have 15" original rims.

RE: 210 wheels on a 124? - they don't fit - now wheels FS

They don’t fit [:(]

They don’t clear the front brake calipers on my car. I am guessing the V8 cars have bigger brakes then the 6 cylinder thus a slightly different offset? If I wanted to grind a couple mm from the back of the wheel or caliper I think they would work okay. But I am not much for grinding on wheels or brake calipers.

For those who might be looking at adding late model wheel to their E420, MB part number 210 401 0302 wheels won’t fit.

I have three nice wheels for sale now (cheap). E-mail me if you’re interested. If you need four, they are readily available on eBay for a fair price. I will sell them each or as a set for a three-legged car[:D]. They should fit 6 cylinder 124’s and of course, 210’s.
