FS: '94 E 320 Convertible; SoCal; 65K; Light Green; $21,000
Hello all,
I'm new to this board. I'm selling this beautiful car for a friend who just moved back East. I would buy it myself, but I don't have the money. If you need any more info, please don't hesitate to contact me.
It's a super-rare 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Convertible. It was imported from Germany and is converted to US specifications, including being fully compliant with California emission standards. (It just passed smog after installing a new catalytic converter.) The VIN is : WDB1240611B972385
It is Light green with chrome rims and has a black leather interior, Automatic transmission, dual-climate air conditioning, dual airbags, ABS, power windows (all four), a Pioneer six-disc cd changer, heated seats, and a power-operated top that goes down in seconds. The strong six-cylinder engine puts out more than 200 hp, and the power comes on real smooth. I've driven this car and it's simply amazing. It's a real tight, solid piece of machinery that's big enough for four adults yet doesn't feel big when you drive it, which is nice. The steering is nicely weighted and you glide over bumps, yet you still feel connected to the road. It's a great cruiser.
There are two minor faults: a small ding on the rear trunk (hardly noticeable) and the driver's seat is stuck, so if you're short you should get this fixed. Other than that this car is in fantastic shape. I have more pictures of the car, so let me know if you want to see more.
Contact me to view the car or take it for a test drive. 323-661-6768, 323-385-2288. Ask for Daniel or Erik
Try checking edmunds.com for a selling price. They have more real world prices than kbb. I checked for the car and got around $17,000 but I don't know all the specifics so you should check yourself. The car looks great though. Your friend seemed to have taken very good care of it.

I did check edmunds and I got around the same price. However, when I check the price of cars for sale in my area, they are selling for 20K-plus, and a lot have more miles than this car.
The only thing I can do is tell the owner and see what he thinks. If he lowers the price I'll let you guys know.
Well, we still have the car...The owner has dropped the price to $17,500. He's been in NYC for 2 months now and he really just wants to get rid of it. I think our next move will be ebay.
If you or anyone you know is interested, please call me at 323-385-2288. Otherwise, look for it on ebay soon.
listen man colour is nothing, its inside the hood what matters my friend. a mercedes shopper doesn't buy the car for its cosmetics,
at least I didn't...
