Has Anyone had a GOOD Experience yet with S600 Grille

But I just read through another post, and Prof Booty recieved - guess what- another broken grill from his EBAY seller. So far I have not heard one claim of someone who has not received their grill unbroken, or has not had to do custom mods to the grill to get it to fit into our W124's

Please I'd love to buy one, but don't want the grill destroyed, because I live in Vancouver.

I think everyonehas had a problem,... except I once read about one guy on this forum who didn't have such a bad experience.

My brother's 201 had a good fit as did my mother's E320... Me I made my own style and lowered the ride this weekend. Guess my family members made it off easy! Better luck to the next group. :)

I just installed mine tonight. It is a very simple install (took not more than 20 minutes), but the new grille doesn't fit very well. It doesn't need any fabrication but it could use a little if you want it looking perfect which I will probably do soon. If you are interested in buying one, get it from the ebayer I got mine from because from what I've seen, they're all the same thing and this one was only $60 plus shipping. Good luck to you.

after reading all the horror stories from people just trying to install the grill insert only like the ones being sold at Autoblz.com, i decided to go the full grill route

Yup, Do let us know how it goes... I watch the eBay auctions that mercedes991 has running.

I have a grill that the prior owner painted the grey insides the same Cabernet Red as the rest of the body... Sorta strange lookin' in a "I've never seen that before" kinda way. Anyway, the 6 fin grill will look way cool.

So, as soon as you can, please post pix & tell us how well the process went for you.

some people are not talking about the same grill here ! it is the W124 replacement grill we are talking about ! im happy for you that your not having problems with your NEWER car replacement grills
