Best place to find a 94-95 hood

Howdy all-

Eventually I want to cosmetically upgrade my car with an AMG body kit, but it looks better with a 94-95 updated hood, where's the best place to get a hood?

Check out bnzsport.com. Somebody is trying to do a group buy on carbon fiber hoods if, you like that is your cup of tea.

That's Extreme E, it's just an idea at the moment, he has to convince his employer to the idea. I tried many salvage yards & MB dismantlers and they wanted too much for a used 94-95 hood. Plus the ones that they did have needed alot of prep work.(Hopefully you'll have better luck) If you don't have a problem with going aftermarket get one online at the many auto part sites. They have them new for about $200 shipped. I ended up just going with the hood update piece from Matrix.de.It cost a lil bit more than the hood but I also avoided fitment issues and was able to keep my OG hood. Last I heard Matrix.de doesn't carry them anymore, but try German Ebay I saw a few on there. In my opinion go with the update piece for the price of the piece plus the installation charge it works out to be cheaper than refurbishing an old used 94-95 hood. Ask Menace I know he got his doen from Matrix .de as well...

***Fifth- if you saw a 94-95 hood for $100 you should've jumped on it. Pre 94-95 hoods are common and cheap but I doubt you'll find a 94-95 in good condition for that cheap.I was being quoted $275 and up for junk hoods that needed alot of work.

You may want to consider buying the upgrade kit from a place like Tuning Zubehor - http://www.tuningzubehor.com/

This isn't the cheapest route, just another option.
I'm still having problems deciding whether I like the old style or new style more.

They're the same company as Matrix.de & M-H-W-.de

RE: Best place to find a 94-95 hood

I guess I'll just go with the update frame when the time comes.

If I decide to, it's a tough call, my model is the last to be badged 300E and last to have the big chrome grille frame.
