Greetings all,

Went through 8 pages to see if this topic had been covered didn't find it so:

aside:(Just bought my first Benz, a sweet 300TE that I love... I'm in Kansas flew to Philly to pick it up and drive back, these cars are unquestionably designed for HIGH speed travel!)

issue: 1st, the wagon has self leveling rear which is totally new to me (can it be 'ditched'?).
When cruising around 50 and up(really at all speeds but most noticed on highway) if you accelerate (.33-.75 throttle) the rear shifts to the left at least 2 inches upseting the car significantly, to the degree that steering wheel input is required to compensate. Additionally an abrupt 'release' of the accelerator will cause a counter 'shift' to the right that also requires steeringwheel input.

Am I in trouble? if so be gentle... I am on a limited budget being a senior in mech. engineering at KSU w/ a family...

mike

My thanks in advance for replies... I anxiously await.
