Valve seal change - how to do?
Hello Teky et al,
I'd like to replace the valve seals on my 300E (M103) myself, but when I removed the valve cover to take a look, it didn't look all too familiar to me. So I thought I should ask what the proper procedure was, what bolts to take off and how to remove and install valve springs. Can you please give me some tips?
Thanks in advance,
Shady

If your doing it with the cylinder head on, then you need MB special tools to compress the valve springs.

Where do we buy these tools? Mine burns oil like mad... I just can't bear the thought of getting rid of this car! I love it dearly... Have you done this before?
