What I'm talking about

These are the wheels I was talking about, to mount on my '87 300 E. What do you think? Has anyone had any trouble using these on 124?

RE: What I'm talking about

they are beautiful wheels... ...from a time before 18" was just about acceptable
IMHO they look best on a W123 CE.. ..they suit the flowing line of the rear wheel arch perfectly

RE: What I'm talking about

I'm not feeling them for the W124. Maybe for the smaller and more classic looking W123.

RE: What I'm talking about

I'm telling you guys, they looked gorgeous on the other guy's 260 E! I wish I had my camera with me so I could show you! I've seen them on a 190 E some years back, and they looked equally beautiful!
I know it's more like "downgrading," but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder [:)]

RE: What I'm talking about

Those wheels are 14" ET23/25 I believe (I had a W123 coupe)

and they would stick out just a little too much on a W124 I think. You could always see if it fits by buying one...

not even sure if it'll clear the brake calipers?

RE: What I'm talking about

I can’t see them on a w124, they are too small and the rims get too dirty too quickly and they’re hard to clean.[:(]

RE: What I'm talking about

Hey, if you like them, get them and post some pics for us. I'm like you beauty is in the eye of the beholder, just as long as you're happy with what you're driving is all that really matters.
