Speedometer

Hey guys! i am goin to buy 18" chrome wheels for my 93 300e, and i was wondering how much the speedometer would be off? i am currently running the stock 15" wheels. Also, is there a cheap way to fix this?? thx guys

probably no change in the speedo reading if you use the correct tyres, all you are doing is adding more alloy "rim" and a thinner profile tyre so the overall tyre/wheel hight remains the same, you will get a harder ride and more Positive ride feed back, also here is a little on setting up the taco to reset the speedo http://uk.msnusers.com/autodatabase/techtips.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Messag e=18&LastModified=4675453241414031245

its pretty easy and inexpensive to have the speedometer re-calibrated...
