Would you think the E200 is a good buy, in terms of the engine and gearbox. I would seriously think that the rest is fine, since i really favor the body shape and built and the under carriage is fairly solid. Thanks for your attention/views.

I'd say if performance is not an issue, an E200 would be a really nice car to have. It is a pretty car.

The engine also seems to be reliable.. at least the 2.3L version of that engine (in the C230) in the US seems to be very reliable..
