400E vs E420

I found a really nice 400E for sale, and was wondering if there are any significant differences in the models I should know about. I know the 400E has slightly less horsepower, and I think I read something about a series problem with the air conditioner. Anything else I should know about? Thanks.

The only major difference is in the facelift. Any mechanical problems would bt the same, like the A/C.
