How do I remove Door Lock Pins

I wanted to change the stock door lock pins, but didnt know how to remove them. I want to put aftermarkets on there instead.

Unscrew them.

I tried, but couldnt unscrew them. I have an 86' 300E
with the vacuum door locks.

Did you try to unscrew more than one? Recently on my 90 300E, I had to remove the driver's door panel, to change the door check strap, and the door lock pin just unscrewed...the 90 also has vacuum door locking.

You just unscrew it. I have the same car and it comes right off, maybe yours is really tight.
