Idle control valve

Can someone please tell me or has a pic, where idle control valve is located on 300 CE 24V.

I have found a pic of it but now need info where is it located on the car (or engine)....

I don't know about your car, but I replaced mine on a 88 300E and it was located under the air filter housing. You'll see it once you take off the air filter housing. I would check the rubber hoses that connect to it for cracks as well (mine needed to be replaced). Hope this helps.

And if I can ask why was the reason for youto change it? What were the symptoms before you changed it?

The original problem was rough idle and rough start and it was sluggish. The idle control valve (and hose)fixed both problems. But this was after I replaced almost everything else :(
