Okay folks. Newbie W124 wagon owner here with simple question.

Both pics taken on flat / level ground. Upper photo is taken with the ignition on. Lower photo is taken with the ignition off.

Is the difference in the height of the rear suspension normally so noticeable? I assume it is caused by the activation of the SLS



Just to clarify. That 300TE is not my car but a loaner while my 230TE is in the shop. It lost fuel pressure 20 mins into my first run out with it !

Will post up some pics of the real thing once it is back in my hands.

In the meantime, anyone like to tell me how much of a difference I'm going to notice between the 230 and the 300 in terms of acceleration and top-end?

230TE is great for our tiny island; economical to run daily and enough amount of torque.

One will not regret ever owning a Mercedes W124. What's better is when it is TE!
