I am from Australia and I am new to mercedes. I drive a Holden commodore VS wagon and I have always loved wagons. The other day I saw one drive by that looked very similar to 2rdwagon's (above). It was a light silver colour and it was lowered with 18's (i think). It was one of the nicest looking wagons I have seen and I have been trying to hunt the model down for a few days now. As I said it looked very familar to the wagon above. I have a picture of one below and I was wondering If someone could tell me what model it is. I have also added my wagon that I have at the moment.
Does anyone know if the headlamps or fendors need to be change in order to put the newer hood on the older 300TE? I can find the hood for about $200 here on the East coast of the USA. To replace the headlight assemblies would be a bit more expensive and push that project way back on my list of things to do.
Check this Greg. Seems like you need to swap the headlights.
Matteus, you have an awsome wagon... DIESEL and manual... drool. Say in that night time shot of the back end, what wheels are on the wagon... they look similar to my tsw 18" carltons....
