RE: Wagons only Picture Thread

Yes it is a hitch (we call them tow bars...they have tow balls attached to them!)
anyway..they are super common on the benzes here.
Not sure of the tow weights...consult your manual.
It will tow almost anything though.
A trailer will be no problem.

Ex-Japan 89 300te in Vancouver

My car is an 89 300te. 99KM (60M). Got it a few months ago. Ex-Japan. Most like a Euro model. Has the ASD, dual mode auto (economy/sport), SR, PW, Dual-zone a/c, cloth interior. Agate green/grey. Differs from the N.American model in that we didn't get this colour, the dual mode auto (which makes a big difference in driveability), or the ASD in 89. Being Euro-spec, it's lighter and has a bit more power. Compared to the North American models, you feel the difference.

RE: Wagons only Picture Thread

Thanks. I almost did not buy the car because of the colour. The achat grun (agate green) is a bit love/hate but the rest of the car was so good and had some unique feature not on the North American TE's that I bought it anyway and the colour grows on you. The car is the daily driver. Has to haul three kids and related gear around. Amazing how much stuff you can get into the TE. The ride is amazing even with a full load. Remarkable car.

RE: Wagons only Picture Thread

The TE is great! I just moved across state and had mine packed quite efficiently if I may say so myself... that is always "my thing" for road trips as no one else packs very well. I bet I looked like a gypsy though[:D] I have some pics somewhere. It was fun going through the pass on I-90 at 80mph passing all kinds of traffic while my baby just purred along. Anyone know the cargo load limit of these wagons? I just replaced my accumulators and flushed and bled the system, but the car still seemed low on the trip. It rides like an entirely different car when it is dry load now. ALL TE OWNERS CHECK YOUR ACCUMULATORS OR JUST REPLACE THEM! you will love your car 200% more or your money back!
