I have a 1983 240D sedan that I am parting out and subsequently scrapping next week. It has 320xxx miles on the engine and unfortunately after 30 years in Connecticut the car is too rusted to repair. The drive train is still very stout and the engine has been well cared for over the years with consistent oil changes and up to date maintenance. I am located in Winston Salem, NC and will be willing to ship smaller parts if the buyer pays shipping. The interior is tan leather, however the driver's seat has a seat from a 1990s E190 installed. The passenger side floor board is very rusted and the seat was removed several years ago. The car has electric windows and the dual climate zone AC. All 4 windows work, I have never tried charging the AC and getting it to work so I am unsure of the climate control functionality. The HVAC fan and knobs do work.
The car has been showing signs of a battery/charging issue. I parked the car a few months ago rather than investigating the problem further. The car has been in my family since new and the motor was rebuilt 4 years ago at 300xxx miles. I'll post pictures of the car later tomorrow after this rain subsides.
Feel free to messages me with any questions,
-Connor
