wood trim on the dash

well the center piece of mine kind of fell off after it was left in the sun (oops), and someone pulled on the one on the glove box thinking that was they way to open it, so one edge sticks up... can i just glue these back down with some hardcore glue, or is there anything that will need to be accessed behind them at some point? thers like some screws and a seam behind the center piece, and also a small metal strip that was there too...thx

These trim pieces seem to fall off for many people including myself. You can use any glue or double sided adhesive trim tape that will work for you. My preference is epoxy since the trim will never come off again. If you are worried about the screws that you saw, make sure that you apply the adhesive only to the metal strip. As far as I know there is nothing that routinely needs removing behind those trim pieces.
