i'm sorry if this question has been covered before, but what year did the carburetors disappear from the w123s? iow, what's the oldest w123 i could get and avoid having a car with a carb?

The 200s were made with carburetors up till 1985 and then the W124s had carbs till 1990.
The 230 and 280 carbs were replaced by the (injected)230E and 280Es in 1981.
The 250 was till 1985 like with the 200 but was replaced by the 260E when the W124s were launched.
