The AC drain is in the middle of the hump under the AC/Heater box. It is a short foam tube. remove the carpet panel and you will see it. kind of a tight fit with your hands to get in there. the water drains more or less on top of the transmission.
Thank you for your info.
To gain access do I remove the AC control module, etc; the center council, or all of it?
No access from below to blow out the foam drain from below with compressed air?
Thanks again for your input.

It is unclear in my research which models used a foam tube to channel evaporator water. However the models with this tube almost always have a leak because the tube disintegrates with age. The tube channels water out of the evaporator and through a hole in the center console region. The drain then ends above the transmission. In your case, I'm going to bet there is no clogged drain only a failed tube. I've got an '82 model and it came with a foam tube as well. I'm going to bet your case is the same.
This is a relatively easy repair in theory, but once you get on your knees to repair it you'll understand it's a pain in the ass. It will take a bit of messing around with. Most people including myself made their own hose to replace the foam tube. example: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum...leak-evaporator-drain-hose-condensate-fix.jpg
Smorrow:
Thanks for your help. Pictures speak in thousands of words.
I was preparing to pull out the center council, etc.
I hope the drain line is to the right of the accelerator as in your photo link.
Is the connection to the AC box on a nipple or a friction fit into the box?
Thanks again for your help.

The ac drain is for sure in this location, and you will have no problem removing the existing foam tube. It is held on with a plastic twist tie? You'll be able to just pull it off, as for how you attach the new one is up to you.
I went under the car and inserted a long thin screwdriver and a bunch of crap came out, then water started coming out. Then I used compressed air and shot it in. cleared it up. You may want to try that first. No problems since.
