Hi
I recently bought myself an 84 230ce, the rear left window wasn't working so i took the motor apart. I got rid of a broken component that stops the motor from burning out once you've rear top of bottom of window travel, so i just have to be careful. However when looking back inside it turns out the part of the assembly that holds the window has rusted and disconnect its self.
So my question is how do i get the assembly out and where can i get a spare?
And does anyone have a diagram of the assembly

thanks a bunch!

If I remember correctly that Metal that is bonded to the Glass is not sold as a seperate Part.

The Metal Rail that Bolts to it with the Slot in the middle you can buy and you need to also buy the Roller/Slide that is peened onto the original arm.
You need to grind or drill out that part from the Arm in order to change the slotted Rail.

Hopefully someone else will comment as my memory is hazy on it.

The Metal on the bottom of the Glass is badly rust on mine also but so far still functions.
