what mpg, and how long have you driven?
Look at my sig for mods. I can get about 35 highway and about 28 mixed/city. About 3 years running off these mods. I really need a 5th fear though, cruising at 80 on the highway gets pretty loud.

teh 240d with a 617a in it?
how much boost? how do you controll the VGT turbo? (variable geometry) right?

did you swap from the stock 240d differential? if not, i absolutely understand why you need a fifth :P
i missed the fifth gear in my w115 with a turbo617 in it and a 2.65LSD differential :P
and accidently looked for the sixth gear in a 2.47 differentialed w126SEC with a om605turbo in it :P

Vacuum actuator is used to control the turbo.
The stock 240d differential is in the car. I have a different one that I haven't installed yet. My OM617 if from a 300CD Turbo.

Yeah the first gear is used a lot. Maybe the rear diff I have sitting in the garage is a 3.07. I'll have to check out the part number.
