I cleaned the connectors (they looked very clean) and added a new ground like so: (Black cable is my new one).
Without my new ground touching the cluster, when I turn on key, the dash looks normal (glow plug, seat belt, brake, etc), but no gauges work.
When I signal LEFT or RIGHT indicator, both left and right indicators light up LIKE hazard lights. Also the seat belt light flashes. Same if I hit hazards.
When I touch the new ground to ANY metal part of the back of the cluster, the left and right lights turn off and now the dash lights, turn into blinkers and both blink as if they were hazard lights. Hazard switch does the same.
Key off, Hazard lights on, my fuel gauge goes to MAX - MIN in sync with both blinkers, which work fine. Also temp gauge pegged @ MAX and the seat belt light flashes in sync.
I do have the pdf manual but the wiring diagrams are crap and almost unreadable. I don't know what to do or try.
