Follow the shut off line to behind the IP and below the VCV. It is held in place with a metal bracket that has a bolt on each corner.
It will have three gaskets, paper, metal and paper, note the notch, there is a corresponding tab on the underside.
Also note the nipple (orifice) and the hook orientation. You MUST line the hook back the same way you removed it, so pay close attention. It is possible to create a run away engine situation if you install it differently that it came out.
IIRC, I removed the screws holding the VCV in place to gain access. I did not remove the linkage, but the unit was able to move around enough.
Be sure to put the square mounting bracket on correctly too.
