No. the last one I bought from them was 3 years ago and that one I installed in the 300SD. Has been working well ever since. I may try them again, except they sell about 3 different brands of these thermostats and I cannot remember which one it was.
Oh, and the two new ones that seem to open at 90 degrees C I bought from the local MB dealer and autohausaz.com. The one from the dealer cost about 3 times as much.

Behr Brand 'Stats
I'm with you here , in the last three years I've purchased FOUR Behr brand 80° C
thermostats , the 1st. one went into SWMBO's '82 240D and it runs right as rain @ 80° C hot or cold , death Valley or in the rain .
The other three all make my other Diesels run @ 90° ~ 95° C and this is driving me bonkers ~ I found the old takeout 80° 'stat in my box of " to be tossed out " stuff , it's hand marked with 80° C and 11/1987 so I guess I'll carefully clean all the red rust silt off of it and see if it still works O.K. .
BTW : I don't think it makes any difference but I purchased them all @ Performance Products in Van Nuys , Ca. as they're close to mt shop .
